The connection with other individuals passionate about music and lieder, along with concerts, is what keeps the light in my eyes and gives meaning to the need to share and grow together in the dis- covery of the richness of both the works and ourselves as performers. This desire to share has led me, from a very young age, to engage in pedagogical activities—one of the sources of joy in my daily life as a musician and individual.

So far, I have had the privilege of practicing pedagogy in the following ways:

  • From 1994 to 2001, as a repertoire professor in the voice department at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
  • Co-creator, with soprano Assumpta Mateu, of lied courses for singers and pianists titled “Paper de Música” in Capellades. Between 2000 and 2013, I shared teaching responsibilities there with Assumpta Mateu, Mitsuko Shirai, Ruth Ziesak, Hervé Baunard, among others.
  • Co-founder, with soprano Assumpta Mateu, of lied studies for singers and pianists at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya. I have been a professor of lied and instrumental chamber music since its establishment in 2001.
  • Co-founder of the ‘Victoria de los Ángeles’ Lied Master for singers and pianists at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya. I have been a professor of interpretation in the Master program since its inception in 2015.
  • Lied professor at the Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe during the academic year 2014/15.
  • Conducted song courses at the Hochschule Hans Eisler in Berlin and the Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe, invited by Wolfram Rieger and Hartmut Höll – Mitsuko Shirai, respectively.
  • Conducted music-as-experience courses for young singers and pianists, alongside Lluis Vilamajó, in Sevilla, Granada, and Zaragoza.
  • Advisor to the Capella Reial de Catalunya for the performance of Bach’s St. Matthew Passion (2019).
  • Delivered a lecture on lied at the International Repertoire Pianists Meeting held in Santiago de Compostela in September 2023.
  • Currently serving as a professor of lied interpretation at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya Lied Master ‘Victoria de los Ángeles’. Master’s in Lied at Esmuc, “Victoria de los Ángeles”
